Subscribe
Two ways to follow along. Both carry the same thing: every new field note, in full, when it goes up. No digest, no drip sequence, no “10 tips” anything.
Or use the feed
If you already have a reader, skip the email entirely:
- RSS —
/feed.xml - Older subscribers may have
/index.xml; it is the same file and will keep working.
The feed carries the full text of each post, not a teaser, so you never have to click through to read it.
What you’re signing up for
Field notes from a stateless NixOS workstation — impermanence and tmpfs roots, MCP server isolation, sandboxing coding agents that run with real access. Each post is a problem that took long enough to solve that writing it down was cheaper than solving it twice.
Post frequency is irregular and honest about it: they go out when something is worth attesting to, not on a schedule.
Unsubscribe is one click, in every email. The list is used for posts and nothing else — no forwarding it anywhere, no selling it, no “partner offers.”
